Description
An essential filler for burritos!
Ingredients
- 30ml olive oil
- 1 jalapeño chile, seeded and finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cans black beans, drained
- 2 tbsp fresh coriander, finely chopped
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp Tabasco sauce
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Sauté onion, jalapeño and garlic in olive oil over a medium heat until onion softens.
- Add beans, seasonings and Tabasco sauce.
- Reduce heat to lowest setting, stir before covering with a lid for 10–15 minutes.
Notes
- Adjust Tabasco to your preferred heat level
- Great as a burrito filling, taco filling, or on its own as a side
- Can be made ahead and reheated
